What is Bybit TradFi?
TradFi is a Bybit product that allows you to access and trade traditional financial assets, such as commodities, stocks, indices and forex, directly on its platform. Traders on Bybit TradFi can use their USDT holdings on Bybit as collateral and margin to trade these traditional assets, similar to the way that fiat currencies are used for this purpose on stock and commodity exchanges and brokerages.
Your trading balances are represented on the TradiFi platform in the form of USDx. This is a surrogate measure designed to most accurately reflect your USDT balances, since tracking these balances directly in USDT is less precise.
Bybit TradFi brings global markets to the Bybit web
Bybit brings global assets to its users via its TradFi offering. Introduced with the Bybit mobile App in June 2025, TradFi has been available on the web version since October. You can now trade commodities like precious metals and oils, market indices, forex pairs and stocks in the form of contracts for differences (CFDs), all via the familiar Bybit interface.
As you begin using the product, you’ll be issued a new TradFi account. You can easily transfer funds between this account and your Unified Trading Account (UTA) or Funding Account, using your USDT holdings for collateral and margin requirements.
