Validity of Bybit VIP status
To ensure your Bybit VIP status is up-to-date, we’ll update your VIP level every day at 7:00AM UTC. Once you reach the minimum requirements, your new VIP status will be reflected in your account. If a new VIP level is unlocked at this timestamp, you’ll enjoy the discounts and benefits effective immediately.
How to become a Bybit VIP trader
Bybit VIP Trader membership takes into account either one of two criteria, namely asset balance and monthly trading volume.
Specifically, your asset balance refers to your total wallet balance across all accounts, excluding assets staked in Liquidity Mining. Meanwhile, your monthly trading volume takes into account the trading volume from both your Main Account and Subaccounts. Trading made via Trading Bots or Copy Trading will also be considered as a part of your VIP trading volume.
Trading volume for Derivatives trading encompasses the total trading volume of Inverse Perpetuals and Futures, USDT Perpetuals, USDC Perpetuals and Futures, and USDC Options.
Trading volume for Bybit RFQ will be counted in the trading volume criteria as long as a trading fee was incurred. Any RFQ trading volume that did not incur a fee will not be counted toward VIP trading volume criteria.
The TradFi (previously MT5) trading volume and assets will also count towards VIP calculation. However, forex/CFD trading volume is subjected to a 10x multiplier compared to crypto derivatives volume. This means that if you traded $100M in forex/CFD, it will be counted as $10M in derivatives trading volume for the VIP requirements.
Fast track to VIP status with MNT
You can fast-track your qualification for VIP by holding balances in the Mantle (MNT) cryptocurrency. Bybit applies a VIP qualification multiplier to MNT holdings, helping you reach a higher VIP level more quickly. The multiplier for MNT allows you to qualify for the next VIP level based on the asset balance criteria. The multiplier rate varies between 1.5 and 1.3, depending upon your current VIP level.
For example, if you’re currently a non-VIP user, your MNT balance is subject to a 1.5 multiplier, meaning that you would only need about $67,000 (rather than the full $100,000) to move up to the VIP 1 level. The table below shows the MNT multipliers applicable to each VIP tier.
Please note that there’s no multiplier applicable to VIP 5.
